Our first home was remodeled over the course of three years. We started on the house full-steam before we moved in, refinishing the floors, painting every surface that wasn’t moving, and removing lots and lots of wallpaper. It ended up being a slow, but rewarding process. After little big man was born, we ultimately decided that a safer neighborhood with better schools was in order, so we put our house on the market. It sold after only 45 days, helping keep the Tulsa average for days on the market at the lower end.
Here’s what our first home looked like at our final walk through before we closed and then three years later the day we put it on the market.
